Deep Fission is developing the Gravity Reactor, a small modular nuclear reactor based on proven pressurized water reactor technology that is deployed in deep vertical boreholes approximately one mile underground, targeting 15 megawatts of electric power per unit. The company's subsurface design reduces the need for large surface containment structures, enabling faster deployment, improved safety and security, and lower capital and operating costs compared to conventional nuclear facilities; multiple reactors can be clustered to serve installations capable of producing hundreds to thousands of megawatts. Deep Fission's primary customers are hyperscale data centers and digital infrastructure operators requiring large, continuous baseload power, with secondary targets including industrial facilities, utilities, and government installations, generating revenue through three streams: equity participation in deployed reactors with indirect involvement in electricity sales via long-term power purchase agreements, upfront payments for reactor delivery and engineering services, and recurring technology licensing and operations fees.
