P/E

Price-to-earnings: how many dollars the market pays for one dollar of trailing annual earnings. A lower multiple is cheaper for a given quality of business, but a low P/E can also signal a value trap. Shown as not-meaningful when trailing earnings are zero or negative (a negative P/E is never displayed).

Formula

Price ÷ TTM diluted EPS (split-adjusted)
