Cytosorbents Corp

CytoSorbents develops and commercializes blood purification devices using proprietary porous polymer beads that remove toxic substances, inflammatory agents, and blood-thinning medications from blood. The company's flagship CytoSorb product is CE-marked and distributed across 70+ countries for use in critical care settings (addressing sepsis, trauma, cardiac surgery bleeding management) and integrates with standard hospital blood-pump systems. Revenue derives from device sales to hospitals and distributors, primarily in Europe where reimbursement varies by country; the company is pursuing U.S. FDA approval for its investigational DrugSorb-ATR device to address perioperative bleeding in cardiac surgery patients on anticoagulants, alongside expanded clinical evidence generation and a growing pipeline of applications in organ transplantation and veterinary medicine.
