Version 4 · effective 14 July 2026
Operator: Moatkeep, part of LGConsult LDA, a limited liability company registered in Portugal ("Moatkeep", "we", "us"). Governing language: English. Governing law / venue: Portugal Effective date: the date shown above (the version's publication date). These Subscription Terms supplement the Moatkeep Terms of Service; if they conflict, these Subscription Terms prevail for paid subscriptions.
The Investor subscription is a paid tier of Moatkeep, a financial data and research platform: company fundamentals, price history, valuation data, charts, and editorial/research content prepared with AI assistance under human editorial review. The actual content that is available will vary from company to company, and may be limited in some circumstances by the available data or by the tier's limits. Tier limits may change from time to time.
Not investment advice. Moatkeep provides data and educational/research content only. Nothing on Moatkeep — including research reports, editorials, alerts, valuation figures, or any other output — is investment advice, a personal recommendation, a solicitation, or portfolio management. Moatkeep is not authorised or regulated as an investment firm or financial adviser in any jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. This disclaimer is repeated in the Terms of Service and on some of the product surfaces.
What Investor unlocks as displayed on the pricing page at the time of purchase; the pricing page is authoritative for the then-current allowances.
Allowances are metered per UTC calendar month where monthly. We may increase allowances at any time; reductions for existing subscribers follow the change process in § 8.
Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter card details only on Stripe-hosted pages; Moatkeep never receives or stores your card number.
Your purchase contract for the paid subscription is with Stripe as the merchant (seller) of record; Moatkeep is the product provider. Stripe's consumer terms for merchant-of-record purchases apply to the payment transaction in parallel with these Subscription Terms. Practical consequences you should expect:
LINK.COM* MOATKEEP (the LINK.COM* prefix is applied by Stripe and is not within our control);Stripe, as merchant of record, calculates, collects, and remits applicable VAT/sales taxes on the transaction.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price for your plan and currency, until you cancel. The renewal date and amount are shown in your account billing area and in the billing portal.
You may cancel at any time from Account → Plan → Manage billing, which opens the billing management portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep Investor access until that date, no further charges are made, and your account then continues on the Free tier (see § 9). We do not require phone calls, emails, or retention flows to cancel.
If you are an EU consumer, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract. Moatkeep is a digital service supplied continuously; the right of withdrawal is lost if performance began with your prior express request and your acknowledgement that the right is lost upon full performance.
Because subscribers expect access immediately on payment, checkout requires you to tick an unticked-by-default consent checkbox before you can pay. The wording currently implemented is, verbatim:
"I expressly request that Moatkeep begin providing the service immediately, and I acknowledge that by giving this consent I will lose my right of withdrawal once the service starts."
A cancellation before the end of the paid period owes no refund; the subscriber retains access until the end of the paid period.
If a renewal charge fails, your subscription enters a past-due state. During past-due you keep Investor access while the payment is retried automatically over a retry window; you will see a "payment needs attention" notice in your account linking to the billing portal, and the payment provider sends failed-payment emails. If the retries are exhausted without payment, the subscription ends and your account reverts to the Free tier. Reverting for non-payment is not a penalty charge; you simply are not billed further.
When your Investor subscription ends (cancellation, non-payment, or a valid withdrawal), your account continues on the Free tier. Consequences:
We may update these Subscription Terms. Published versions are immutable and dated; the current version is always at moatkeep.com/legal/subscription-terms. Material changes affecting existing subscribers will be notified by email at least 30 days before taking effect, with the right to cancel before the change applies.
