Version 6 · effective 6 August 2026
Authorship and AI use. Content bylined "Moatkeep Editorial" or "Moatkeep Research" is produced by an AI-assisted drafting process under human editorial review, as described on our methodology page. We disclose this process centrally and prominently rather than tagging each article, because the process is uniform: it applies to every editorial and every research report. We do not publish an editorial or a research report without human review, we do not attribute content to AI personas, and we do not accept payment for coverage of any company.
News summaries are the one exception, and they are labelled individually. Items on our News pages are written automatically by an AI system from sources we list and link, and are published without prior editorial review. Wherever they appear — the news feed, a company’s News tab, the home-page carousel — a visible "AI-generated" label sits at the point you first see them, so this disclosure is made on the news surfaces themselves as well as centrally here. Before publication they pass mechanical checks only: a verbatim-overlap check that holds back anything reproducing a source's wording, structural validation that every cited domain is one we have approved, and our standing content rules. Nothing in that chain is a person reading the item.
Content rules. We never publish price targets and never make buy, sell, or hold recommendations. Our content describes businesses, valuations, and scenarios; readers draw their own conclusions. These rules are enforced in our publication tooling as well as by editorial review.
Corrections. If we discover a material error in published content we correct it and mark the correction with a date; frozen research reports receive a correction notice rather than a silent rewrite.
To report an error: support at moatkeep.com.
Corrections and objections on news summaries. Because news summaries publish without prior review, correction on notice is the primary safeguard, and we treat it as an obligation rather than a courtesy. Anyone — including a person or company named in an item, or the publisher of a source we summarised — can write to support at moatkeep.com. We aim to respond within 72 hours and are bound by law to respond within one month. Depending on what is wrong we will correct the item in place (the item keeps its address and shows a modified date), withdraw it, or remove the personal details from it. Where a request concerns personal data we will ask you to verify your identity before we act, only to the extent needed to be sure the request is really yours (see our Privacy Policy).
